Elephant Refinery leads the way in making the precious metals sector more sustainable. The demand for metals continues to rise, but these raw materials are becoming increasingly scarce. Elephant recycles waste containing precious metals into raw material and thus contributes to a circular economy.

Responsible Gold
Elephant Refinery works exclusively with precious metals from responsible sources: Companies and countries that respect human rights, the environment, and biodiversity in the processing of precious metals. Elephant Refinery exclusively recycles precious metals from (legal) waste streams and does not process mined gold.
Elephant Refinery is member of the Federation of Gold and Silver (FGZ). Elephant Refinery has signed the “Responsible Gold” code of conduct of the FGZ. By signing the code of conduct, we distance ourselves from possible risks in the sector, such as, for example, child labor, mercury pollution, and conflicts around gold mines.
